This product gives superb flexability to a XLR multicore audio snake. It allows up to four XLR returns to be converted to 1/4" stereo jack returns instantly.
These are very useful to have; if perhaps they are not needed from the outset, at some stage you will probably need to send a mix to headphones which have stereo jack connectors. Likewise, it is common for mixers to use 1/4" jack sockets for returns.
What the convertors do is change up to four XLR sockets to four balanced 1/4" jack sockets (on the box/drum), and change up to four XLR plugs to four balanced 1/4" jack plugs (at the mixer end).
