This product gives superb flexability to a XLR multicore audio snake. It allows up to four XLR sends to be converted to 1/4" stereo jack sends instantly.
These are very useful to have; if perhaps they are not needed from the outset, at some stage you will probably need to input microphones that use stereo jack connectors into the snake. Likewise, it is common for mixers to use 1/4" jack socket inputs for some channels.
What the convertors do is change up to four XLR plugs to four balanced 1/4" jack sockets (on the box/drum), and change up to four XLR sockets to four balanced 1/4" jack plugs (at the mixer end).
