The TL-2091 Class AB Mosfet full range amplifier has a durable,
precision-engineered, robust heavy-duty build that offers fantastic audio
reproduction, and maintains such clear signal reproduction at uncompromisingly high
power levels.
Heavy-duty gold plated terminals ensure clean input and output connections, with
the uncompromising heavy-duty aluminium heatsink keeping cool the rock-solid,
advanced design double-sided board, crammed with hi fidelity audio components.
The amplifier can operate with 2, 3 or 4 output channels, powering
coaxial/components speakers and/or subwoofers. The built in 40dB/octave
continuously adjustable high pass and low pass filters allow the output to be tuned
to the speakers, enabling them to work more efficiently.
One of the unique features of the amplifier is the 2-ch/4-ch switch. This allows full
4-channel operation from only 2-channel input (one RCA/phono pair from the source
unit).
Also included in the package are two phono "Y" splitter leads to allow another amplifier to share the same RCA output from the source unit if required. The leads convert one RCA socket on the "L" input of the amplifier, into two RCA sockets, and convert one RCA socket on the "R" input of the amplifier into two RCA sockets.
In addition to this, two phono adaptors are included. These enable the amplifier to operate in 2-channel stereo mode (dual bridge). These would be used when two extremely high power component speakers are connected to the amplifier, so the amplifier delivers the left output via the "A" channel, and the right output via the "B" channel.

Cables to Use:
The TL-1192 wiring kit is strongly advisable, as it includes all the correct specification cables to ensure the amplifier, charging system and speakers are all correctly linked together. All the accessories needed are included.
If you insist on not using the TL-1192 wiring kit, the following is absolutely necessary for the amplifier to function properly:
- At the very least, 8 AWG power and ground cable.
- At least a 60A fuse installed inline on power cable.
- At the very least, 2x 0.75 mm squ. speaker cable.

From: Jon (Sussex)Got a TL-2093 a while back and more recently a TL-2091 too. I'm amazed at how much you get for your money. The peak power figures are as usual pretty meaningless but the real (rms@1%thd) power outputs are very similar to more expensive amps of the same size. Simple designs with solid build quality and at least as much (if not more) adjustability than other amps. Sound quality a.o.k... If you're thinking about dropping serious money on a posh amp just buy one of these instead and put the saving towards better speakers.
